Gianetta Murray
After an idyllic forty-two years in the sunny climes of California, I craved rain and married a Brit so I could move to South Yorkshire where I continued a career in technical writing, library science, and knowledge management.
At 60, I looked at my cats lazing around the house ignoring me and knew I wanted to spend more time with that, so I retired to write fiction under the pen name Gianetta Murray. Starting with a collection of paranormal stories and contributions to multiple anthologies, I worked with Troubador Press to publish the first Vivien Brandt mystery, Moved to Murder, about a Californian who has moved to South Yorkshire (such a coincidence!).
I continue to work with various collectives to publish anthologies and more murder mysteries with the occasional break to see the world. I also enjoy Hollywood musicals, classic rock, and rewatching Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Firefly. The cats continue to ignore me except for mealtimes and when I’m trying to sleep.
