About Hardways

Hardways is a modern police procedural set in Seattle – in the present and in the mid-1990s. With the federal government threatening to take control of the police department over its treatment of the city’s minority communities, embattled Homicide Detective Gwen Drake must solve the sniper killings of two well-respected black men. Drake hides her past relationship with one of the victims in a high-stakes gamble to solve these hate crimes and save her career.
