The Crime Writers' Association

Debut Dagger 2014

Barb Ettridge
Convict
shortlisted

Barb Ettridge is a writer that likes dirt. The dirt of history and the earthy people who lived, and died in it. Her crime novels deal with periods when actual investigation was only a fledgling notion, and most simply wanted the evidence buried along with the victims. She writes about average people deep in the shires or unfashionable parts of London but their lives, and deaths, aren’t average and follow narcissistic agendas that drive gruesome and brutal crimes. Currently Barb lives in Sydney, Australia where she works as a Communications Manager.
