Getting your author mailing list offer right is one of the single most important things you can do to engage and nurture readers, but many writers find the whole process daunting. This clinic is suitable for writers who’d like to set up their first newsletter or other mailing list offer, as well as writers who are unsure and want to know what it’s all about. It will also include plenty of practical ideas and inspiration for writers with an existing newsletter who’d like to give their offer a boost of energy and enthusiasm. Anna Caig trains creative people to do their own marketing. She works with The Society of Authors, Jericho Writers and The Literary Consultancy, as well as one-to-one with many writers. Anna also writes historical and crime fiction. She was highly commended in the CWA Debut Dagger prize and her novel The Wise Witch of Orkney will be published in February 2026. She is obsessed with the hidden voices of women in history.
