Theakston Old Peculier Crime Writing Festival Old Swan Hotel, Harrogate 19-22 July 2018

The world-class, award-winning Theakston Old Peculier Crime Writing Festival, now in its 15th year, returns to the magnificent Old Swan Hotel this summer from the 19-22 July. Celebrating the very best in crime fiction, the Festival is a firm date in the literary calendar and has achieved international acclaim for the programming, organisation and atmosphere.

 

With Lee Child at the helm as Programming Chair for 2018, we’re looking forward to a really exciting programme. Authors who will be holding forth include luminaries such as Denise Mina, Don Winslow, Andrew Taylor, Antonia Hodgson, Erin Kelly, Simon Mayo, John Grisham, Sophie Hannah, Nicci French – and many more, including quizzes, Crime Room 101 with Richard Osman and the famous New Blood panel with Val McDermid.

Also at Harrogate: Audible to Annouce Winner of New Writing Grant at Friday Afternoon Reception

Audible will be announcing the winner, along with a live reading, at a drinks reception on the Friday afternoon.
