Sylvia Proctor has worked hard to build a life away from the family home in North Yorkshire. When her brother, Colin dies by suicide there is no choice but to go back to tie up all the loose ends. Poughton Bridge has changed, but not the animosity of the villagers. Threatened and pursued by an unknown individual, she doubts the facts around her brother’s death.
