Suspicious Activities in Plain View
Mulgray Twins
Works of: Fiction, Audiobook
Within a short time of her arrival at Pear Tree Farm Creative Arts Centre, a front for the distribution throughout the UK of drugs financed by the proceeds of smuggled tobacco, DJ makes a grim discovery – the body of the HMRC agent placed undercover at the Farm. What blew his cover? Will she make the same fatal mistake? The gang vets all new enrolments. Since DJ has attended only a beginner’s class in clay modelling, her struggle to present herself as a skilled clay sculptor is fraught with danger. Arousing the slightest suspicion will be enough.
Her efforts to create a Henry Moore Work of Art and Sniffer cat Gorgonzola’s attitude of ‘A cat’s got to do what a cat’s got to do’ add elements of humour in their seventh undercover mission — to discover who at Pear Tree Farm gives the orders and how the drugs are secretly distributed.
