Jennifer Ash
With a background in history and archaeology, Jennifer Ash should be sat in a dusty university library translating Medieval Latin documents and making good use of her PhD in fourteenth century crime and ballad literature.
Instead, tucked away in the South West of England, Jennifer has written the cosy crime mystery, Manuscript Mysteries at The Robin Hood Club (KDP, 2024), and the four part medieval murder mystery series, The Folville Chronicles: The Outlaw’s Ransom, The Winter Outlaw, Edward’s Outlaw and Outlaw Justice (Littwitz Press, 2015, 2017, 2018, 2020).
She has also penned 20-plus audio stories and novels for ITV, Spiteful Puppet and AUK Ltd, inspired by the popular 1980’s television show, Robin of Sherwood: including, The Waterford Boy, Mathilda’s Legacy, The Baron’s Daughter, The Meeting Place, Mathilda’s Legacy, The Power of Three, The Servant, Tales Untold and more (2017-2025)
An eight part, star-studded, audio-drama, set in seventeenth century France, is on its was. This is currently top secret – but if you like a little swashbuckling, then this action adventure will be for you. (AUK Ltd, 2025-2026)
Better known as Jenny Kane, Jennifer has written 16 contemporary fiction novels for Bloomsbury, Headline and Head of Zeus. (Ten of which were best sellers). She has also written over 200 erotic stories as Kay Jaybee, in a previous incarnation.
