Michael Bilton
Michael Bilton is the author of two non-fiction books about devastating crimes. Four Hours in My Lai is about the murder of 500 civilians by US troops during the Vietnam War (the film he produced of the same name won an International Emmy and a BAFTA).
Wicked Beyond Belief: The Hunt for the Yorkshire Ripper was published in 2003 and nominated for a CWA non fiction award. The book has been undated four times and a new updated edition will be published when an ITV drama series based on the book will be shown in late 2022/early 2023 – made by the production company which made “White House Farm” and “Des”. Michael is working on a new true crime story about an event in London in World War Two.
