Faye Brann
Faye Brann is based in southwest London. A graduate of Rose Bruford College, Faye’s career has spanned theatre, events, communications and advertising. She gained an MA in Professional Writing from Falmouth University in 2015 and ran a successful copywriting business until 2023. Now a full-time author, Faye also performs with local musical theatre company BROS TC. She is a supporter of Polka Theatre’s Write Here, Write Now programme for schools and is also a proud trustee for Home-Start Merton, a local charity offering support to families who are going through challenging times.
Faye Brann won the unpublished Comedy Women in Print Prize in 2020 and her debut novel Tinker, Tailor, Schoolmum, Spy was published in September 2021 by HarperCollins and was a #1 bestseller in Women’s Adventure Fiction on Amazon Audio Books.
Faye is a hybrid author, publishing both traditionally and independently in response to the changing world of publishing. She is passionate about writing crime stories featuring strong, feisty and fun women, in particular women aged 40+ who are under-represented in commercial fiction.
