Brid Cummings
Brid Cummings was born and raised in England before emigrating to the sunnier climes of South Australia.
She enjoys reading and writing across a range of genres but is particularly drawn to psychological suspense and thrillers that lean towards the gothic or supernatural.
Her debut novel, The Teacher’s Lie, was published as an Audible Original in November 2024. She has also had crime short stories published in a range of magazines and anthologies and was the inaugural winner of the Glencairn Glass Crime Short Story Competition.
Brid is a member of the CWA (UK), Australian Crime Writers Association, Sisters of Crime (Australia) and International Thriller Writers. When not writing, she enjoys hiking around the beautiful coastline of South Australia with her independently minded Kelpie cross.
