Chris Humphreys
Actor and writer Chris (C.C.) Humphreys has played Hamlet in Calgary, Caleb the gladiator in Tunisia, waltzed as Lord Mountbatten in London’s West End, conned the landlord of the Rovers Return in Coronation Street, patrolled the Sun Hill beat in The Bill, commanded a starfleet in Andromeda, voiced Salem the cat in the original Sabrina, and is a dead immortal in Highlander! He has written four plays and twenty four novels including The French Executioner, runner-up for the CWA Steel Dagger for Thrillers; Chasing the Wind; The Jack Absolute Trilogy; Vlad – The Last Confession; A Place Called Armageddon and Shakespeare’s Rebel. He also has also written both YA and epic fantasy, the last with the Immortals’ Blood Trilogy for Gollancz. His novel Plague won Canada’s Arthur Ellis Award for Best Crime Novel. He has an MFA in Creative Writing from the University of British Columbia. His novels have been translated into twelve languages. Last summer saw the publication of his WW2 thriller, Someday I’ll Find You, a bestseller in Canada. His most recent book is One London Day, a modern thriller, first of a series, out 22/1/26 published by Allison and Busby. He lives in Totnes, Devon.
