Before turning his hand to fiction, Neil Broadfoot worked as a journalist for 15 years – an experience that greatly influenced his high-octane thrillers Falling Fast, The Storm and All The Devils, all of which feature crime reporter Doug McGregor.

Falling Fast was an instant success, shortlisted for the prestigious Deanston Scottish Crime Book of the Year Award and the Dundee International Book Prize, setting the standard for Neil’s work an establishing him as “a writer to watch” who is  “[up there] with some of the finest crime writers Scottish fiction has to offer”.

Neil has now signed with Constable to create a new crime series set in Stirling, The first of the Conor Fraser books, No Man’s Land, will be published in July 2018.
