Robert L. Randall
Robert L. Randall is an unpublished dark fiction writer. A retired Civilian Criminal Investigator with a career of almost forty years. He holds an Honours Degree and a Post-Graduate certificate in criminal investigation. After decades of living in rural villages and market towns in Warwickshire, he draws inspiration from his lived experiences to create complex mysteries rooted in generational silence and buried history.
Randall’s current manuscript, ‘Private Killings’, set in both World War II Rural Britain and the present, exposes evil hidden behind cynical masks of manufactured intrigue, folklore, and the supernatural. Introducing two truth diggers, Church Archaeologist Dr Leslie Harwood, providing forensic detail, and self-styled ‘Murder Gang’ crime reporter William Muddiman, as they break sacred seals of complicity.
He is proud to have been accepted as an Emerging Author Member of the Crime Writers’ Association, where he can connect with fellow authors and industry professionals to hone his writing craft.
During his downtime, Randall roams South Warwickshire and enjoys all that it has to offer. He also has a professional interest in researching Cultural Looting.
