Carol Wyer’s writing career began in 2009 with seven humorous fiction and three non-fiction books. Following much success, including winning The People’s Book Prize Award in 2015, articles in magazines, ‘Woman’s Own,’ ‘Yours’, ‘Choice’ and Woman’s Weekly’, and interviews on national radio stations and BBC Breakfast television, she moved from writing humour to crime thrillers in January 2017 with the release of LITTLE GIRL LOST, the first in a series featuring DI Robyn Carter. With rave reviews and top rankings, it showed Carol had found her true niche.
The best-selling series was swiftly followed by the DI Natalie Ward series and a third series, introducing a darker, more troubled detective, will be released in 2021 by Thomas & Mercer.
Her crime novels are set in rural Staffordshire where she has lived for over thirty years and to date have sold over 750,000 copies and been translated into several foreign languages.
