Carol Wyer’s writing career began in 2009 with seven humorous fiction and three non-fiction books. Following much success, including winning The People’s Book Prize Award in 2015, features in magazines, ‘Woman’s Own,’ ‘Yours’, ‘Choice’ and Woman’s Weekly’, interviews on national radio stations and BBC Breakfast television, she moved from writing humour to crime thrillers in January 2017 with the release of LITTLE GIRL LOST, the first in a series featuring DI Robyn Carter. With rave reviews and top rankings it showed Carol had found her true niche.
Following the huge success of THE BIRTHDAY released in 2018, a further four DI Natalie Ward books were commissioned and will be published this year.
Her crime novels are set in rural Staffordshire where she has lived for over thirty years.
