CWA Conference 2022
We’re delighted to say that the annual conference, postponed from 2020 and again from 2021, will be held at the lovely Imperial Hotel in Torquay, Devon on 22-24 April.
As well as arranging for some truly amazing speakers to inform and entertain us, we will be organising splendid trips to Agatha Christie’s Greenway and other local crime-connected destinations. Also lined up… A workshop on marketing your books. And not a murder, but the Dagger longlists will be announced. Best of all, there’ll be many convivial opportunities for you to get together with other CWA members and rediscover the delights of social interaction with fellow crime writers.
Moreover, there’s the English Riviera to explore on your very doorstep, and in springtime too.
For those members who booked previously, whether you held over your booking or you cancelled, you should have heard from us already. If not, please email email@example.com.
If you’d like to book a place – and we suggest sooner rather than later while the hotel still guarantees rooms at the CWA price – please see the booking form. If you have any questions, contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
Please note payment comprises two parts; a fee payable to the CWA (NB an early bird discount applies until early January) which covers the conference aspect of the weekend; and accommodation which should be paid to the Imperial hotel using the specific CWA reference. If you prefer to stay in different accommodation, that’s fine of course: just let us know on the booking form. The Saturday gala dinner is included in the Imperial’s accommodation fee, but payable separately if you’re staying elsewhere.
Don’t forget – while the CWA Conference is not open to the general public, all members are very welcome to bring a guest to share the fun. We hope to welcome author and corporate/associate members alike, and their patners or friends. If you’ve never been to a CWA conference before, Torquay in 2022 will be a fantastic time to start.
