Originally from London, Rebecca is an advertising copywriter living in Edinburgh. Inspiration for her fiction includes her mysterious Scottish great-grandmother, as well as Edinburgh’s nefarious underbelly. She won a BBC Writersroom script competition, with selected scenes performed at a BBC showcase at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. Her fiction is longlisted for another prestigious award – details presently embargoed – and she placed in the top 75 of the BPA First Novel Award. She writes at her little caravan in the Highlands whenever she can. And before she gets out of bed every morning.
