Over twenty years ago Nick Shannon was in prison for seven years for the mercy killing of his sister, crippled beyond repair by a hit-and-run driver. The only clue he has is that there was a boot print at the site which led to a firearms police officer. But which one? When Nick, now a fraud investigator, gets the opportunity to defend a serving police officer accused of embezzlement, it’s the excuse he wanted to sift through the police files. But that’s what the killer doesn’t want. Nick is now on another hit-list. Will he get the killer before the killer gets him? Will justice be done or will Nick pay the price?
Blue on Blue is published 4 December 2018. Makes a nice change from seasonal red, gold and green, we’d say.
