Gail Williams is a freelance editor, currently working with Jefferson Franklin Editing. She has an honours degree in Business Administration and a wide range of experience with interests as diverse as ancient weaponry, geocaching and forensic science. All of which helps her pick up on small details to assist fellow authors avoid pitfalls in their writing.With a background in asset management and database development, Gail has written a number of technical manuals, been a correspondent for an in-house newspaper and editor of an orienteering club magazine. In 2013, she won the Topsy Evans Award for prose. She has two series’ of crime novels in progress: The Murder Tydfil Series – police procedural in the third person, following the adventures of DI Atkins and DS Palmer in the South Wales Valleys (first book, ‘Dead Happy,’ completed and professionally edited, second book, ‘Electric Avenue’ currently in development).
