Debut Dagger Webinar 11 November with ProWritingAid

Are you thinking about entering your story for the CWA Debut Dagger this year? The deadline isn’t until the end of February, but now’s the time to get ahead and start seriously working on your entry.

Secretary of the CWA, editor Dea Parkin, and the Chair of the Debut Dagger judges, best-selling author Leigh Russell, will be joining the folks at ProWritingAid on 11 November at 7pm GMT for a live training session. Learn what the judges are looking for, and how to give your story the best shot at winning.

They’ll also answer questions about eligibility – the rules have changed for 2022 so please be aware.

NOTE: The replay for this webinar will be sent out the following day. So, even if you’re not able to make this date/time, it’s still worth registering to get the recording.

And for writers looking to get professional feedback on their entries in good time, don’t forget that the CWA’s Criminal Critiques service offers mini critiques tailored to Debut Dagger entries, and provides developmental and copy-editing services, too!
