Victorianoir

Kat Clay is a writer and photographer from Melbourne, Australia. Her short novella, Double Exposure, was released with Crime Factory in 2015 and longlisted for the Davitt Award for Australian women’s crime fiction. Her writing traverses noir, horror and the weird, exploring topics such as sinister cities, the representation of women in fiction and the macabre.

VICTORIANOIR

In London 1856, tabloid editor Richard Garrett investigates the murder of Sir John Constance, in an uneasy alliance with washed up detective William George of the Thames River Police. Victorianoir is an historical crime novel which combines the language of hardboiled and noir with the salaciousness of the Victorian Era.
