David Buckley, a former English teacher, has had plays on Radio 4, reviewed fiction for The Observer, and written for The Independent, New Statesman & Society and The Guardian. He has recently completed a crime novel set in the West Riding of the 1950s as part of the MA in Writing at Sheffield Hallam University.
