Clare Mackintosh Wins Theakston Crime Novel of the Year
Announced at the Festival on Thursday 21 July, Clare Mackintosh wins the Theakston Old Peculier Crime Novel of the Year with her debut crime novel, I Let You Go, published by Sphere.
CWA member Clare was awarded her prize – £3,000 and a handmade engraved oak beer cask – by Mark Lawson and sponsor Simon Theakston.
