OK, it’s not quite in May but near enough, and it looks brilliant! Free entry too.

A chance for readers to see their favourite crime writers and listen to them reading their work in a social setting.

Participating authors include Cath Staincliffe, Chris Simms, Roger A Price and organiser Robert Park.

There are nine short 5-10 minute readings from each author’s books, read by the authors themselves, split into groups of three, with a 30 min break between for refreshments.

There’ll also be a chance for a ‘wildcard’ reader – a member of the public from the audience – to read their work.
