Granite Noir is back for 2020 with a huge selection of fascinating author conversations, exhibitions, local history talks, film screenings, music, workshops and more, all inspired by the incredible popularity of crime fiction in all its forms and most importantly Aberdeen, which makes the perfect backdrop for the festival – steeped in history, atmosphere and with a strong sense of place. Sara Paretsky, Ian Rankin and Ben Aaronovitch headline the festival, as well as appearances from authors of Nordic Noir, and crime authors from North-East Scotland.
