Returning to her home town of Maling, DS Lisa McCormack finds a town very different to the one she left, when the events of one night expose the unnatural predators living within it.

Caroline lives on the Mornington Peninsula outside Melbourne (Australia) on Bunurong Country. She is a graduate of the RMIT Associate Degree in Professional Writing and Editing, and an alum of the Curtis Brown Creative 3-month Novel Writing Course. In 2023, she was a Wheeler Centre Hot Desk Fellow and also received a Varuna Writers Centre residency.
