Reports are coming in of a death at the annual New Year’s Eve event hosted by Lady Beatrice, the Countess of Rossex. The ball, a tradition at Francis Court, is held each year to say thank you to the two hundred staff and their partners who work at the family’s sixteenth-century stately home and estate. The event was planned and catered for by Posh and Fabulous, the much sought after Fenshire-based event’s company owned by high-society sisters, Jasmine and Holly Curson.

Bea is nervous about hosting the traditional New Year’s Eve ball for the first time. So when the festivities turn deadly and the local police are short staffed, Bea, her clever dog Daisy, and her best friend Perry, must help catch the killer before the partygoers find out and her hosting debut turns into a disaster.
