Alibis in the Archive
The world-renowned Gladstone Library on the North Wales/Cheshire border is to host a splendid feast of juicy crime writing dishes: Alibis in the Archive.
The programme runs from the evening of Friday 9 June to Sunday 11 June 2017 and kicks off with a murder mystery written by CWA Diamond Dagger winner Ann Cleeves. The following day, Ann talks about the world of television detectives, David Stuart Davies will be as entertaining as ever about Sherlock Holmes and our Chair Martin Edwards talks about criminally good networking through the Detection Club and the CWA. Publishing Agatha Christie (David Brawn), digging up the past (Kate Ellis), Ngaio Marsh (Stella Duffy), clerical crime (Kate Charles), true crime (Linda Stratmann) and the British Library and detective fiction (Rob Davies) are some of the other delights in store.
This is a not-to-be missed event. Full details are here: https://www.gladstoneslibrary.org/events/events-courses-list/alibis-in-the-archive
