An Evening with Cath Staincliffe

Celebrate National Crime Reading Month with award winning crime writer, Cath Staincliffe.

 

Cath is an award winning novelist, radio playwright and creator of TV Series Blue Murder. She published her first crime fiction novel, Looking for Trouble, in 1994. This was the first in her series of novels featuring Sal Kilkenny, her female private detective who juggles life as a single parent with solving crimes on Manchester’s mean streets.

Cath also writes novels dealing with contemporary issues some of which reflect issues in her own life. These include ‘Fear of Falling’ which deals with an adoption that goes very wrong indeed and ‘The Girl in the Green Dress’ about trans gender hate crime.

 

Cath will be in conversation with Anne Earley at Altrincham Town Hall, discussing her ‘life of crime’ and her latest novels The Girl in the Green Dress and Fear of Falling.
