In association with the University of Stirling, this masterclass for writers features Booker shortlisted Graeme Macrae Burnet; author (& Slice Girl!) A K Benedict; and advice on writing a synopsis and pitch by Alison Belsham (who won Pitch Perfect two years ago and is now published by Orion) and Lorna Hill, and the opportunity to meet publishers and agents including Jade Chandler from Harvill Secker, Moira Forsyth from Sandstone and agent Phil Patterson.

There is early bird booking for the masterclass until 1 August, saving £10 off the full £100 (£90 concessions) ticket. This also includes a free ticket to the first Bloody Scotland event (Sep 21-23, Stirling) with Denise Mina and Val McDermid and 10% off other festival events.
