Coastal Crime With Kate Evans and Glenda Young

North Bridlington Library, YO16 6YD

Kate Evans and Glenda Young have both chosen the Yorkshire Coast as settings for their crime novels. In conversation with Nick Quantrill, they discuss how the sea and our coastal towns make a perfect backdrop for a thrilling mystery.

Kate Evans writes fiction, non-fiction and poetry. Her crime series featuring DC Donna Morris is set in Scarborough. In her books dark brooding skies and swirling mists create an ominous atmosphere and a sense of foreboding.

Glenda Young’s cosy crimes are set in modern-day Scarborough. The crime series was shortlisted for Best New Crime Series with Val McDermid and Richard Osman in the Dead Good Readers Awards.

Tickets are £5, and you can get yours here. For more information, see the event website or contact Pamela Taylor-Bramwell.
