You are invited to a celebration of ‘An Evil Tale I Heard’, a historical crime novel taking place in Prince Edward Island in 1871, written by award-winning author, the late Seán Haldane. The creative process in producing such a mystery novel will be discussed by Ghislaine Lanteigne, Co-Publisher at Rune Press. There will be readings from the book, and a performance of folk music of the epoch with Acadian musicians Christina Raphaëlle Haldane (soprano), Carl Philippe Gionet (pianist) and Ana DesRoches (fiddler). Copies of the book will be on sale.
