Pauline Rowson at Totton Library
Adventure, mystery, heroes and the sea have always held a fascination for Pauline Rowson so it wasn’t surprising that she turned to crime – writing that is – and created an exciting series of marine based crime novels set against the atmospheric backdrop of the sea on the South Coast of England. Pauline is the author of nineteen crime novels, fourteen featuring the flawed and rugged DI Andy Horton three in the marine mystery series featuring former Royal Marine Commando Art Marvik, now an undercover investigator for the UK’s National Intelligence Marine Squad (NIMS) and two stand alone crime novels, In Cold Daylight, which was voted by the public as their third best read in an online poll for World Book Day 2008 and In for the Kill.
Pauline will be talking about the inspiration behind her popular crime novels and how she researches, plots and writes them.
