A crime fiction weekend like no other – from its beginnings, St Hilda’s Crime Fiction Weekend has drawn readers from all over the world to Oxford to hear their favourite authors explore the genre and the writers who have inspired them. Since 2020, we have offered this unique conference online, by popular demand from all over the world.

From the classic adventures of Sherlock Holmes and Lord Peter Wimsey to the killer tunes of the Fun Lovin’ Crime Writers, music and performance have played a central role in some of our best-loved stories.
