Tea and Talk
It’s World Mental Health Day on 10 October and the Mental Health Foundation are encouraging groups to get together for Tea and Talk sessions. When you’re more socially connected to family, friends, colleagues or your community, you’re happier, physically healthier and live longer, with fewer mental health problems than people who are less well connected. Staying connected as a writing community and as individuals is often more important than we realise.
The Society of Authors is hosting an informal Tea and Talk session to get together for a chat over a cuppa. It is free to attend but spaces are limited and are on a first come first served basis, so please email Bryony Hall to confirm your place by Monday 7 October.
More information about Tea & Talk sessions and advice on staying mentally well can be found on the Mental Health Foundation website.
