Casey Jones and the Ghost of a Chance

Casey gets called in by Marcuse, the don of the East London mafia, to find his kidnapped granddaughter, Juliet. There’s a ransom of a hundred thousand pounds to pay, in cash of course, to get her back. The instructions say that no police should be involved. Don’t despair – Casey’s on the case.

Which is tricky because it may mean her being caught in the crossfire in the turf war with the South London mafia.

And then things get complicated! Is there a new kid on the block trying to take over both the east and the south? Will the old regimes be able to resist these coups on their territories or will a new order replace them?

And all the time there is a ghost to be met and a body laid to rest.
