On the opening night of a sell-out performance, kathakali dancer Jagdish Sharma is found dead in his dressing room. He has been stabbed to death. The spotlight is on those closest to him, including Jagdish’s wife, who was desperate for a divorce, his zealous understudy and a local hotelier.
