Please, Nurse!
Joan Lock
Works of: Non-fiction
The book is largely a reprint of ‘Reluctant Nightingale, published by J M Dent in 1970, which related my experiences as a student nurse in the early 1950s. On the book jacket is a photograph of some of my class including me on the far left and on the far right, Audrey, the lovely girl who became my sister-in-law.
