Prior to writing his first book, Gary Comenas worked as a press officer for Island Records and founded the website warholstars.org. Raised and educated in California and New York he became a permanent resident of London in 1986. Before turning to crime fiction (his true passion), he wrote a non-fiction book, The Real World. His first crime novel, Murder-to-Wear took place mostly in the fashion industry and club scene of New York – inspired by his experiences when he lived there. He is currently working on a sequel to Murder-to-Wear.
