John Dean
A journalist by trade, John Dean worked as a crime reporter on newspapers for part of his career, which gave him ample material for his crime novels.
He ran his own business for 21 years, specialising in magazine journalism, and, in recent times, branched out into running his own creative writing courses. He and his wife closed the business in March 2020 and John now focuses on his writing and writing-related projects
He has had 24 novels published and is with the Book Folks. He is the creator of DCI John Blizzard and DCI Jack Harris. As John Stanley, he wrote two books in the DCI Danny Radford series.
