Caroline England

Born in Sheffield, Caroline studied law at the University of Manchester and stayed over the border. Caroline was a divorce and professional indemnity lawyer who turned to writing when she deserted the law to bring up her three lovely daughters. She has had short stories and poems published in a variety of literary publications and anthologies.

Caroline writes stand alone domestic psychological suspense/thrillers. Her debut, Beneath the Skin, also known as The Wife’s Secret in ebook, was published in October 2017. My Husband’s Lies followed in May 2018 and became a top ten ebook bestseller. Betray Her was published in July 2020 and Truth Games followed in June 2021. THE SINNER, was published on the 16th June 2022 and The Stranger Beside Me will be published on 3rd August 2023.

Caroline also writes under the pen name ‘CE Rose’. The first gothic-tinged psychological thriller, The House of Hidden Secrets, was published in April 2021 and The House on the Water’s Edge followed in August 2021. The Shadows of Rutherford House was published in November 2022 and The Attic at Wilton Place came out on 30th March 2023

Caroline has also published two dark and twisty short story collections, Watching Horsepats Feed the Roses and Hanged by the Neck.
