I have worked as a journalist since 2001 and with The Irish Times since 2015 with a particular interest in courts and legal affairs before moving to the news desk as assistant news editor.
My debut novel, In the Court’s Hands, was published by Poolbeg Press in October 2018 and the second in the series is due out in the autumn. The central character, Beatrice Barrington, is a stenographer at the Criminal Courts of Justice in Dublin.
I also write short stories some of which have been broadcast and short listed for the Francis MacManus Short Story prize on RTE Radio.
