I’m the author of true-crime book The Hunt for the 60s’ Ripper. This is a re-investigation of the case of a little-known serial killer in west London during the Swinging Sixties. For this I talked to several contemporary detectives and profilers to explore what might have gone wrong in the original investigation, the largest ever seen at the time, and why the killer escaped justice.
The book led to a BBC4 documentary, Dark Son: The Hunt for a Serial Killer. I was interviewed for that programme and have since been a regular contributor to TV series such as Murder by the Sea and other documentaries.
When it comes to fiction, I have contributed short stories to one or two anthologies, such as Action: Pulse Pounding Tales.
I’m currently researching another true-crime book and working on further fiction ideas.
