Louise Mangos
Louise is a full-time writer and artist living in the Swiss Alps. Her debut psychological thriller, Strangers on a Bridge, was a finalist in the Exeter Novel Prize and long-listed for the Bath Novel Award. Her second novel, The Art of Deception is a domestic suspense. Her third novel, a psychological thriller entitled The Beaten Track was a finalist in The Page Turner Award and gold medallist in the Global Book Awards. Her fourth suspense novel is the psychological Whodunnit Five Fatal Flaws. Her fifth psychological suspense The Girl in the Doorway will be published in July 2025. Louise also writes historical mystery as L.S.Mangos, the latest of which is The Secrets of Morgarten, nominated for the Historical Dagger and bronze medal winner in the Global Book Awards. Louise’s work has won prizes, been placed on shortlists, and has been narrated on BBC radio. Her short fiction has been published in more than 20 print anthologies. In her spare time she solves her plots on the cross-country ski trails in winter or by wild swimming in the lake near her home in the summer. She holds a Masters in Crime Writing from UEA.
