Faith Martin
Sub-genre: Police procedural
Faith Martin has been writing for over 25 years (her first novel was published in 1993) and has produced over 50 novels.
Recently Joffe Books have brought out all 17 of her police procedural series featuring the very popular DI Hillary Greene. Much to the author’s surprise and delight, all of them went straight into the Kindle bestseller charts, giving her several No 1 spots in the UK last year. Not only that, they also became global bestsellers as well, regularly reaching No 1 in Australia, as well as making the top 50 in Canada and even showing in the top 100 in the USA. She has now sold over a million copies of this series alone.
Joffe Books are now in the process of bringing out her ‘murder mystery’ series, featuring her travelling cook/amateur sleuth, Jenny Starling. And these too are global bestsellers, appealing to all those who like a more traditional whodunit.
The author is currently busy writing a new series of books, featuring her latest fictional creations, Dr Clement Ryder and WPC Trudy Loveday, set in 1960’s Oxford. HQ Digital have acquired and published 3 of these books so far. The first of them, A Fatal Obsession went straight to the No1 spot in The Bookseller chart on it’s debut, with the second, A Fatal Mistake entering the same chart at No3 on its release. The third book, A Fatal Flaw has just been released, but is already accruing 5* reviews.
Her ebooks can be found on Amazon/Kindle (but are nearly all available also as paperbacks on order). HarperCollins will be bringing out her Ryder & Loveday books as paperbacks starting spring/summer 2019.
