Linda Mather

Linda is writing the 4th in a crime fiction series based on an astrologer, who is also a PI.  They  feature Jo Hughes, who is determined to make her way as a professional astrologer despite being regularly dragged into murder cases by her ex-boss and ex-ex David Macy.   This latest is about the secretive and indirect motives of Cancer the Crab.

Linda once worked as a PI herself.  In fact, having done many jobs from rescuing stranded whales to organising graduate schemes in Scandinavia, she has a wide range of experiences and places to draw on, which inspire great stories.  She has written and directed Murder Mystery events, written short stories and travel articles.  This year she felt privileged to judge a short story competition run by a Government organisation based on people’s experience of the coronavirus.

Personal interests, apart from writing,  are fitness and, of course, astrology.  She lives in Worcestershire and is a member of the CWA’s North Cotswold Chapter.

Published by Pan Macmillan, the books are: Blood of an Aries, Beware Taurus and Gemini Doublecross.
