Liz McGregor was born and brought up in South Africa and now divides her time between Cape Town and London. She is a former journalist, having worked in South Africa, the Far East and the UK, where she was deputy editor of the Guardian’s Comment & Analysis section.
Liz has written several non-fiction books on diverse subjects, ranging from HIV/Aids to rugby. Her most recent book, published in the UK by Icon Books in July 2022, is a true crime story. Unforgiven, Face to Face with My Father’s Killer, weaves the tortured history of South Africa into an investigation into her father’s murder, culminating in a confrontation with the murderer.
