Senay Ordu is a British-Turkish novelist, an investigative journalist and a screenwriter.
She holds a Mining Engineering degree from Istanbul University, and a Master of Science in Marketing from the Brunel University in the UK. She has completed a 6 months course in screenwriting at London Met Film School.
Senay has worked at various print media and TV channels, including Turkey`s leading newspaper Hurriyet, CNNTurk and ATV, holding positions ranging from editorship, columnist and reporter. As an investigative journalist, she has covered various areas, including border conflict, political interviews and specialized in real life crime features at Hurriyet newspaper for several years.
Her first novel, Dilnisin, a literary suspense, was published in Turkish in 2014 by Alfa Publishing.
Her second novel, Bana Vera De, a physiological thriller, was published by Dogan Kitap/ Egmont Publishing first in January 2020 and went for a 2nd edition in just after one month.
Senay also has a portfolio of scripts in noir crime and mystery genres.
An advocate for antibullying, and children`s access to read, she has been working on a charity project in 2020.
The writer lives in London since 2007.
