Hilary Pugh writes mystery/crime novels. One series is set in Scotland and features hapless private investigator Ian Skair and his dog Lottie. The other, The Breakfast Club Detectives is set in Windsor where a group of three amateur sleuths, a retired detective sergeant and a dog called Harold, solve crimes that the police have shown little interest in.
Hilary has worked as a professional oboist and piano teacher and more recently as a creative writing tutor for the Workers Educational Association.
She loves cats and makes excellent meringues.
