Miranda Rijks writes psychological thrillers, predominantly set in West Sussex.
With a degree in Law, a masters in Writing (with distinction) and qualifications in Coaching and Psychometric Testing, Miranda spent many years setting up and selling businesses in the horticultural, leisure and retail sectors. She turned to writing novels full-time in 2018, after surviving a gruelling year of treatment for Ewing’s Sarcoma, a rare bone cancer.
Her novels include stand-alone psychological thrillers such as I Want You Gone, Deserve To Die, You Are Mine and Roses Are Red, as well as a thriller series featuring Dr Pippa Durrant, a specialist in lie-detection techniques. Miranda is also the author of How Compatible Are You? published by Bloomsbury and The Eccentric Entrepreneur, published by The History Press.
Miranda lives in West Sussex with her husband, musician daughter and black Labrador. When she’s not writing, she’s working out how to fulfil her dream of living in a chalet on a mountain, obsessively knitting and coming up with crazy business ideas.
